20 July 2021
All time slots to visit the maze will now only be sold, on the day, direct from the kiosk window, on a first come first served basis.
Traffic and visitor numbers are exceptionally high this year.
We are a small maze and to prevent overcrowding we have a set number of time slots available per hour and also a maximum capacity at any given time.
Traffic queues are causing too many late arrivals on a daily basis and the maze quickly becomes full.
We will honour all bookings and enquiries made with us so far but from Tuesday 20th July we will no longer take advance bookings for the maze.
During your visit
Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before your allotted time.
Only one group will be admitted every 20 minutes.
Each visit will be for a maximum of 1 hour.
On arrival each adult will be asked to check in using the NHS Track and Trace App. If you are unable to do this we will need a contact number from you. This will be kept for 21 days and then deleted.
Around the maze you will notice white marks on the footpaths.
These are there to help you maintain social distancing.
With such low numbers of entrants, spaced 20 minutes apart, meeting other ‘mazers’ is highly unlikely!
We only ask you to wear a mask,
i) Inside the central building and
ii) Inside the shop which you have to come through as you exit the maze.
Are placed in strategic positions in the maze.
Average time taken 20 - 50 minutes
